Saint Julia
Born in Cartagena in the 5th century A.D., Saint Julia was sold to the Syrian slave-trader, Eusebius. During the journey with her master in northern Corsica, Julia refused to disembark from the ship and participate in a pagan ceremony. She died on the cross by the hands of the ruler of the island Felix.
